Jeans can be expensive, and when I find a pair I love I really want them to last forever. Here are some tips to make your jeans last.
- The first time you wash your jeans turn them inside out and add salt or vinegar to the water, I use about 1/2 cup of salt). This will help set the color and slow down fading.
- Always wash your jeans inside out with the coldest setting of water to prevent bleeding.
- Use a laundry soap for dark fabric to help protect the colors.
- Hang your jeans to dry instead of putting them in the dryer. Dryers can break down the fibers in the jeans, ruin the elastic and cause them to fade.
