We all use deodorant on a daily basis, but did you know that it can build up under your arms after daily application? If you exfoliate under your arms it will remove the film to reveal fresh, clean skin. It really helps unclog your pores and makes your deodorant work better since you are removing all the build up and applying a fresh layer.
I’ve also heard that exfoliating under your arms can help reduce dark underarms. I’m not sure if this is true as I do not have dark underarms. Has anyone tried exfoliating to reduce dark underarms? Let me know in the comments below if it works.
You can make your own scrub at home with a few ingredients that you probably have in your kitchen, Check out my recipe for an all over body scrub here.
I like to use St. Ives Apricot Scrub to exfoliate my body and underarms, it works well and is inexpensive.
If you have a higher budget, the Lush Ocean Salt Cleanser Scrub is amazing!
Came across your blog while researching underarm exfoliation. You mention that you have no problem with dark underarms, and your underarms do look great on the hair braiding video. Was curious if you do laser hair removal on your underarms.
I have never tried laser hair removal before.
