Eating right aids with Cardiovascular Disease

Millions of people over the age of 60 are suffering from cardiovascular disease.  Just because you aren’t old doesn’t mean you can’t start preventing things now.  Cardiovascular disease is often times due to poor lifesystle choices or gene.

There are several contributing factors to heart disease:

  • Obesity
  • High blood pressure
  • High cholesterol
  • Poor eating habits

It is commonsense to start eating healthy when you are younger to avoid heart disease as you age.

Eating Right and Avoiding Arthritis

If you were told that what you put into your mouth will effect how you age, you would typically be more inclined to follow your diet.  Osteoarthritis is a common type of inflammation from which the aging population suffers.

Eating more vegetables and fruits, especially organic, are said to reduce the implications of arthritis.  Recent studies have shown that herbs such as ground ginger may be effective in reducing inflammation.  Reducing your sugar intake and eating raw nuts along with staying hydrated will help aid in reducing arthritis.
