Riversol Skin Care Review
Riversol is a local Vancouver skin care company founded by Dr. Jason Rivers, a board certified dermatologist. He developed his line with sensitive skin in mind, which I have. Dr. Rivers found that a lot of the products on the market for sensitive skin contained irritating ingredients that actually aggravated sensitive skin. I totally agree with Dr. Rivers as a lot of skincare products that claim to be for sensitive skin irritate my skin.
L’Oreal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Line Review
I qualified for another VoxBox from Influenster and it was for more hair care products from L’Oreal. Last spring I had been sent the Fibralogy Line and didn’t really like it and I still have the half used bottles under the vanity. This time I was sent three products from L’Oreal’s Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil line. I didn’t have high hopes for them as I’ve never been fond of L’Oreal hair products. But I was pleasantly surprised by this line. 🙂
Delicious Healthy Oatmeal Breakfast Recipe
I'm one of those people that has to eat breakfast every morning. I'm not really on a time crunch like some people for making breakfast as I work from home. I've been looking for healthy breakfast ideas for awhile and have finally found one that I enjoy. Some...
It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product Review
The It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product is a highly raved about product. It took me along time to bring myself to purchase it because it retails for $18 for a 4 ounce bottle. I think I found it on sale or used a coupon when I originally purchased it. Then I received the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In for Blondes in a goodie bag from an Ulta purchase. So that is why I own both.
NYX Eyebrow Gel Review
The NYX Eyebrow Gel is a superb product! I own the colour in Blonde, as I have blonde hair. It comes in five shades so there should be a shade available for most people. The NYX Eyebrow Gel claims to be...WaterproofLong-lastingSmudge-proofThe NYX Eyebrow Gel lives up...
Lisap Easy Build Hair Reconstruction System Review
If you didn’t know already, I have an obsession with hair products. I have loads of them and can’t seem to stop myself from buying more. I’ve been doing better at resisting, but it’s difficult.
I was contacted and asked if I wanted to try the Lisap Easy Build Hair Reconstruction System. So as you can image, I said I’d love to. I received the system over a month ago and have been using it regularly since. I’ve come to the end of the bottles so it’s time for a review.
DIY Rustic Headboard for under $50 Canadian
I've been wanting a headboard for quite some time for my place but I didn't want to spend $300+ on a headboard. I wanted a rustic looking headboard as I've always liked that style. We went to a reclaimed wood place on the river but they wouldn't be able to cut us any...
How to Remove Gel Shellac Manicures at Home
I don’t get my nails done too often, only for special events. I have VERY fragile nails and I find that the gel shellac damages them even more. I also think it’s expensive to do it on a regular basis and would rather spend my money elsewhere such as on travel.
St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse Review
The St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse has fairly good reviews online and that is what made me purchase it awhile back. It's very inexpensive on Amazon, less than $10. You can also find it at Ulta for $12.99. I purchased the "dark" version as I like a dark tan, but...
Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Formula Review
I’ve been using Palmer’s Cocoa Butter for at least 15 years, my Aunt first introduced it to me and I’ve been using it daily ever since.
The Palmer’s product I’ve been using for years is their Cocoa Butter Formula Lotion. They’ve come out with several other products over the years and I’ve tried a few of them. I was recently contacted and asked if I wanted to try some of their products for dry winter skin. I jumped at the chance since I’ve been a fan for half of my life.
Degree MotionSense Dry Spray Review
I know, I’ve never reviewed an antiperspirant on my blog and don’t plan to make it a regular thing. But I was sent the Degree MotionSense Dry Spray from Influenster for review purposes. In order to complete my tasks I’m required to write a blog post. Honestly, I don’t even want to write a review because I dislike this product. I try to stay away from doing an entire negative blog post, but here we go.
I’ve been using the same deodorant for years, anytime I try something new I go back to my trusted; Secret Clinical Strength Antiperspirant Deodorant.
I’ve never actually used a spray type deodorant so was kind of excited to try one.
Products I Use to Spot Treat My Breakouts
I’m cutting it close to 30 and still have occasional breakouts. I typically get a least one bad one around my time of the month then random ones other times. It’s very frustrating and I’ve been dealing with this for along time now. I have three products that I use regularly to treat my breakouts and I find that they work the best for me.
Irresistible Me Hair Extensions Review
I have really long hair, it pretty much goes all the way down to my butt. So I don’t really need hair extensions for length. But I always feel that my hair lacks volume because it’s so long and heavy. So occasionally I like to wear hair extensions for more volume.
Amie Naturally Kind Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash Review
I know, my reviews have been lacking. I’ve been extremely busy with my business and just haven’t had the time. I had a shower this morning (obviously) and after washing my face with Amie Naturally Kind Morning Clear Purifying Facial Wash I decided I had to write a review on it cause I’ve been really enjoying it for the past few weeks.
Ipsy Glam Bag September
This will be my last review of Ipsy until later next year. I’m going to be traveling a bunch so I have decided to cancel my subscription. I already cancelled my Birchbox because I knew I wouldn’t get it before heading home to Vancouver. September’s Ipsy Glam bag came in a really cute gold bag. I will be saving this one for sure. I have a pile of these small bags and use them to help sort things when traveling. For example I just flew home on the weekend and put all my cords into one of the Ipsy makeup bags in my carry on. I use another one of their bags as a pencil case. They have actually come in handy.
Target’s Beauty Box
Subscription box services seem to be the thing right now. At moment I’m subscribed to two boxes, Ipsy and Birchbox.
Target’s Beauty Box isn’t technically a subscription box, but it reminds me of one. It comes in a box like Birchbox, and it isn’t a subscription service. You have to actually purchase it when they release a new box.
